Course Reserves are materials, such as books and journal articles, for use in specific courses at the request of course instructors. These items are either held at the Information Desk at the HSC Library or are made available electronically via the Ares Course Reserves system, depending on format and copyright permissions status.
Ares Course Reserves
First-time users: You will be asked to create an account as an instructor or student. Instructor accounts must be verified and approved by Course Reserves staff. During regular working hours, this should be done within 60 minutes of making the request. If assistance or immediate clearance is needed, contact the HSC Library at (352) 273-8408 and ask for a Course Reserves staff member.
Please note: It is strongly recommended that you use the UF VPN Client for accessing course reserves materials from an off-campus network. For information on downloading, installing, and using the VPN client, please visit Off-Campus Access.
