The HSC Library staff provides instruction to students, faculty and other qualified users of library resources. Course-integrated instruction is provided for students in the six health science center colleges and other health-related courses. We encourage faculty to be active partners with their library liaisons and collaborate to develop course-integrated instruction that requires students to utilize information skills and resources. Most often, course-integrated instruction includes a class search assignment that will enable students to utilize their new database searching and information gathering skills to complement what they are learning in the classroom. Classes are designed to be subject- and discipline-specific.

In addition to course-integrated instruction, the library offers classes for individual databases, Internet resources, and other topics for faculty, staff, and students. Registration is required for these classes. Please call or or complete our online form.
