3d-PRINT-WEBSITE-SLIDERCome check out our 3D printing service in the library!

If you haven’t been in the HSC Library lately, you may not know about our 3D printer (MakerBot Replicator 2).

Using PLA plastic, we can print items up to 11.2″ x 6″ x 6.1″ in size. Whether you’re interested in creating anatomic models for studying or patient education, equipment or experiment parts, or just something for fun, this is an exciting way to turn your idea into a 3D reality!

Charges are 15 cents per gram, with a $3 minimum charge and several small pieces can be batched together. Most items under 1.5″ x 1.5″ x 1.5″ are $3.  A case or box around 6.5″ x 3.5″ x 3″ costs around $20.

Print jobs are accepted from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.
